Water and the New Business-As-Usual

VICTORIA – Unless we act now, we will have a water crisis of our own making. This is the message from Oliver M. Brandes and Linda Nowlan in an article commenting on Living Water Smart, and published in the Victoria Times Colonist on June 15, 2008.

According to Brandes and Nowlan, and as reported in the Times Colonist, the real coming challenge will be to not only ensure the resources are available to see the Province’s goals through to fruition, but also that a commitment to good watershed governance is the priority toward a sustainable approach to water.
