The Irrigation Industry Association of British Columbia was formed in 1979 to provide a forum for manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors to get together to communicate and exchange information about the irrigation industry.
The Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) was instituted in 1970 through a collaboration of the three Okanagan regional districts to provide leadership on water issues that span the entire valley – recognizing the need to work together to protect our common resources.

While this site provides information on water topics related to the prairie provinces of Canada, it also has much valuable information that would apply to British Columbia on topics such as water use, treatment, etc.
The CMN helps communities in BC and Canada map sensitive habitats and species distribution. Information is integrated from many sources ot assist landuse planning and is freely available in over fifty user friendly atlases. The atlases have links to local and remote databses, WMS sources and geo-referenced video.

The Stewardship Canada web portal exists to support a stewardship knowledge network in response to the premise that information is essential to good stewardship. The Stewardship Canada portal provides a simple entry into a virtual, growing community of information, knowledge, contacts and resources specifically related to stewardship. The StewardshipCanada.ca portal relies on partnerships to be successful and meet the needs of stewards throughout the country. The Portal is a sharing of interactive web applications. It is built on a secure network server linked to high speed internet service. Stewardship Canada is supported by an experienced systems and portal site development team. An important thing to know – many of the tools on the website are interactive. That means, you can not only find information you want, you can also “add” your information and experience.
