Message from the BCWWA President: “A Common Purpose”
Reprinted from the Fall 2009 issue of Watermark Magazine, the journal of the British Columbia Water & Waste Association:
What motivates you to do your best? Even with several answers to this question, there is a common denominator among BCWWA members: we each play a part in protecting the health and the assets of our communities and the environment through the stewardship of water resources and infrastructure.
BCWWA is rich with opportunities to meet people with diverse ideas, experiences and points of view. Our membership must be commended and I salute the hundreds of people who have brought forward their contributions. Such commitment and excellence strengthens our success in safeguarding public health and the environment through the sharing of skills, knowledge, education and experience, and providing a voice for the water and waste community.
