Fruit and Vegetables Imported by Canada Contributes to California’s Drought

“Few things stir Canadian nationalism faster than talk of exporting water across the Canada-U.S. border…But the net volume of water shipped from their side of the border to ours is immense.. (and) most of the imbalance is in fruit and vegetables,” writes Don Cayo, business columnist with the Vancouver Sun newspaper.
