British Columbia’s Irrigation Scheduling Calculator is now live and operational

The Irrigation Scheduling Calculator that the Ministry of Agriculture has  been working on the past few years is now live and operational.  The calculator will provide users with an irrigation schedule using real-time climate data from Farmwest.

The calculator works for most irrigation systems, both agriculture and landscape systems in British Columbia. The tool is part of the commitment on  “improving irrigation efficiency” under Living Water Smart. The development was funded by the National Water Supply Expansion Program in partnership with the Irrigation Industry Association of British Columbia. There is still some work to do in the development of User’s Guides which will be accomplished over the next few months.
