PEI has an abundance of clean, cool water – ground, surface and coastal. Industries such as aquaculture, the commercial fishery, tourism, food processing and farming all depend on water-based resources. For that reason, there are a number of regulations and guidelines in place to protect the sustainability of our water sytems.
