CAVI Leadership Team recognizes contributions of Kim Stephens
Connect the Dots!
At a recent meeting of the CAVI Leadership Team hosted by the Regional District of Nanaimo, John Finnie (right) presented Kim Stephens (left) with a leather journal cover. “This gift was in appreciation of his tireless support for CAVI, his organization and coordination efforts in keeping CAVI moving forward and on-track, his attributes as CAVI’s (un)official scribe and promoter, and for always “connecting the dots” to facilitate communication and new ideas,” stated John Finnie.
Kim Stephens is the Executive Director of the Partnership for Water Sustainability in British Columbia. He has four decades of experience encompassing the spectrum of water resource and infrastructure engineering applications.
He specializes in public policy and integration of perspectives as they relate to urban watershed planning; and has had a leadership role in a series of Provincial initiatives in British Columbia related to water-centric planning, water sustainability, rainwater management and green infrastructure.
Kim has been invited to speak on ‘the British Columbia experience’ and make keynote presentations at forums in Australia and throughout North America.
In 2010, the BC Water & Waste Association recognized his contributions in bringing organizations and people together when they honoured him with the BCWWA Bridge Building Award.
