Companion Websites: Rainwater Management and Water Balance Model communities-of-interest

Under the umbrella of the Water Sustainability Action Plan for British Columbia, the British Columbia Inter-Governmental Partnership responsible for the Water Balance Model powered by QUALHYMO has developed the Water Balance Model Commuinity-of-Interest as a companion website to the Rainwater Management Community-of-Interest.

The Water Balance Model has been integrated with the QUALHYMO hydrologic engine so that rainwater runoff volume reduction strategies can be assessed at three scales: site, development and watershed.

The purpose of the companion website is elaborate on what the user needs to know to understand the basic functionality of this web-based decision support and scenario modelling tool. The focus is on How to Use the Model.
