United States EPA Promotes Green Infrastructure to Reduce Rainwater Runoff

“While flood control is still a primary function of stormwater management, cities across the country are finally starting to see the value of water features in an urban setting,” writes James Laughlin, editor of WaterWorld. 

“To help accelerate the ‘green’ movement, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is launching a new strategy to promote the use of green infrastructure by cities and towns to reduce stormwater runoff.”
