Sustainable Saanich workshop: Green Value, Green Marketing and Green Financing
What is the real value of 'sustainability' and 'green buildings', and how can you benefit from this? On June 22, the District of Saanich is hosting a free seminar to shatter the myth that 'green costs more'. Attendees will learn about:
- Innovative marketing and financing options for residential and commercial green buildings;
- Adding value to developments so that you meet sustainability goals AND get a better return on investment;
- The Vancouver Valuation Accord, signed by Premier Gordon Campbell and an international conglomerate of bodies responsible for appraisals and valuation, signalling a declaration of the importance of cementing sustainability in business practices.
This workshop is designed to be of interest to:

- Planners, engineers, architects, realtors
