Getting Ahead of the Wave

Organized under the umbrella of the Water Sustainability Action Plan for British Columbia, the 2009 Vancouver Island Learning Lunch Seminar Series was a collaboration of:

  • four local governments in the Comox Valley, namely: Comox Valley Regional District, City of Courtenay, Town of Cumberland, Village of Cumberland
  • the Comox Valley Land Trust
  • Convening for Action on Vancouver Island(CAVI)

The Series theme, Getting Ahead of the Wave, defined what the four Comox Valley local governments wished to accomplished in building on the foundation provided by the 2008 Learning Lunch Series.
