British Columbia’s Irrigation Scheduling Calculator

The Irrigation Scheduling Calculator that the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands has been working on the past few years is now live and operational.

The calculator will provide users with an irrigation schedule using real-time climate data from Farmwest.

The calculator works for most irrigation systems, both agriculture and landscape systems in British Columbia. The tool is part of the commitment on “improving irrigation efficiency” under Living Water Smart.

The development was funded by the National Water Supply Expansion Program in partnership with the Irrigation Industry Association of British Columbia (IIABC) .

To access the calculator, click on the calculator tab on the IIABC website or select it from our Toolbox sidebar on the left on this page.

Users guides are being prepared that provide attitional information and will assist users of the online calculator. A users guide for Landscape Drip and the various agricultural systems are under development and will be added as they are completed.
