B.C. Frost Protection Guide
This guide was produced in 1988 by the Ministry of Agriclture and Fisheries and published in partnership with the Irrigation Industry Association of B.C.
The 43 page guide covers the following topics:
– Explaining Types of Frost: (radiative, advective, evaporative cooling, freeze injury)
– Frost Protection Methods: (both passive ie: barriers, cultural practice and active methods ie: artificial fogs, wind machines, heating, irrigation)
– Irrigation System Design -Monitoring Equipment
