The 2013 Annual General Meeting of the Partnership for Water Sustainability in British Columbia (PWSBC) will be held at the Radisson Hotel – 81881 Cambie Road, Richmond, British Columbia – on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 12:00pm until 1:30pm. PWSBC welcomes all members and members of the general public to attend.
With directors, volunteers and local government representatives attending from other parts of the province, this is a great opportunity to meet PWSBC members, get an update on PWSBC activities, and become more involved in helping to create a sustainable water future here in British Columbia.
Celebration of the Water Sustainability Action Plan for BC
“In conjunction with the Annual General Meeting of the Partnership for Water Sustainability in BC, and to create a high-value “sharing and learning” opportunity for our local government members and others, we have partnered with the Irrigation Industry Association to co-host Get Your Mind Into the Gutter: A Workshop on Rainwater Harvesting in British Columbia. The workshop provides an incentive to attend our AGM and learn what the Partnership does,” states Tim Pringle, Partnership President.
“During the AGM, we will also be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Water Sustainability Action Plan for BC. The Partnership is helping the Province of British Columbia to implement the Living Water Smart and Green Communities initiatives. This is done through a shared responsibility in delivering the Water Sustainability Action Plan.”
“We hope that the attractiveness of the program content for the Get Your Mind Into the Gutter Workshop will similarly provide an incentive for interested parties to attend the AGM and learn more about the Action Plan as well as the Partnership’s facilitating role.”
